EVERYDAY MINERALS MUSICAL MUSES CAMPAIGN
Dirt Bike Press worked with Austin based organic mineral makeup company Everyday Minerals to sponsore three up-and-coming independent female musicians, in order to give them the opportunity to create music that they've always dreamed of making.
Selecting Georgina Leahy, from South East London, and now residing in Los Angeles, most recently toured with Adam Ant recorded a cover version of the '60s garage rock classic "Kicks" with the thought that the lyrics were relevant to our times. Lee K, DJs in venues in Southern California and produced a tech-house club track for the initiative that will now be her debut release on Disco Pinata Music. Holly Marilyn, also from Los Angeles, is the bass player in Night Terrors of 1927. WIth the help of EM she was able to realize the first recording of her new solo project.
The Musical Muses Campaign featured a 1960’s French Pop-inspired fashion shoot to support the songs. The vintagey photo shoot was shot exclusively using vintage Polaroid.
